Changes in this release include:

• The ePrescribe function has been expanded to include the full scope of Phase I meaningful use of Electronic Medical Records.
• The scheduling program has been changed to not open up a new appointment slot if the appointment is canceled/rescheduled, if it already was canceled/rescheduled.
• The void ticket program has been modified to clear the patient and ticket fields when a new account is entered.
• The patient information program has been modified to prompt for copying address changes to all family members if the home phone is changed.
• The comments field of the Daily transactions report has been modified to wrap extra long comments onto the next line.
• The standard Patient communications report has been modified to prevent the loss chopping off of phone number when long zip codes are encountered.
• The Billing program has been modified:
  • To prevent over-sized contact lens type codes causing an error on attempting to create a contact lens lab order.
  • To display the full text of diagnosis code descriptions in the pop-up selection box.
  • To Limit procedure code usage to only certain insurance companies. See the Help text for more information: Procedure Code Maintenance=> Allowed Insurance IDs and Billing=>Point of Sale Billing Program=>Authorized Procedure codes.
  • To automatically select procedure code modifiers based on the combination of procedure code and diagnosis code selected. • The Spectacle lab order printout has been changed to eliminate the highlighting of the account field, so as to improve readability.
• The Insurance payment program has been changed to be able to find tickets with balances less than one dollar.
• The full descriptive text of Research codes has been added to the Patient Communications letter writing function.
• A length edit has been added to the Patient screen Social Security Number field.
• The Patient Communications program has been changed to print the Note Flag, Recall Code, Special Note Flag and Diagnosis Code Descriptions rather than the numeric code on a Custom report.

• Fix to prevent End of Day from hanging while waiting for a printer selection.
